- What is CartaX?
- CartaX is a browser-based geospatial platform by Fixurelabs for viewing, measuring, analyzing and securely sharing survey data — point clouds, orthophotos, elevation models, 360° imagery and vector layers — on a single 2D/3D map.
- Do I need to install anything?
- No. CartaX runs entirely in the browser; viewing, measuring, analysis and sharing require no extra software or plugins. Recipients of share links also open them with just a browser.
- Which file formats are supported?
- Point clouds: LAS/LAZ (conversion up to 150 million points) and pre-built octrees. Orthophotos: GeoTIFF → COG conversion, ready COGs and XYZ tile packages. Elevation: DSM/DTM GeoTIFF. Vectors: GeoJSON, KML/KMZ, Shapefile (zip), DXF. 3D: Cesium 3D Tiles (b3dm) and GLB. 360°: panorama photos and 360° video. See the "Supported Formats" page in Guides for the full list and size limits.
- What does the free plan include?
- The free tier is permanent and requires no credit card: 500 MB storage, 2D/3D and point cloud viewing + measurement, 1 share link per environment (1 recipient, up to 3 days). Processing pipelines (LAS/LAZ and orthophoto conversion) are on paid plans.
- What does the Individual plan cost and include?
- The Individual plan is ₺990/month (VAT included) or ₺9,900/year (2 months free + 90 permanent bonus tokens). It includes 100 GB storage, 15 processing tokens per month, 2 parallel jobs, unlimited PIN-protected sharing, Turkish cadastre (TKGM) parcel queries and all measurement/analysis tools. Storage can grow with 250 GB–1 TB add-ons.
- How do I start? Why might signup be closed?
- You can sign in with an existing account. Self-serve signup may be temporarily closed until payment integration goes live; in that case you can reach us via the enterprise contact form.
- How does PIN-protected sharing work?
- You create a link for a project or dataset; the recipient verifies with their e-mail address and a 6-digit PIN. Link validity is 1–30 days (up to 3 days on the free tier). Recipients view the data in the browser, take measurements and leave notes; guest measurements are ephemeral and access closes automatically when the link expires.
- What is the point cloud size limit?
- For LAS/LAZ conversion the per-file limit is 5 GB and 150 million points. For larger datasets you can convert to an octree on your desktop and upload it as a "ready octree" without spending tokens; that path is only subject to your storage quota.
- What is the TKGM parcel query?
- You can query Turkish cadastre (TKGM) parcels directly on the map: block/parcel info and boundary geometry are shown alongside your own data. The feature is available with a Turkey location signal or institutional credentials.
- What is CartaX Studio?
- CartaX Studio is a desktop companion app (Windows/macOS/Linux) that processes data on your own machine and uploads ready outputs (point cloud octree, COG, 3D Tiles) to CartaX. Local processing consumes no processing tokens; outputs only count against your storage quota.
- What does the Enterprise plan offer?
- Team workspaces, role-based access control (RBAC) and audit logs, extended storage/processing capacity, whitelabel and organization-specific setup are part of Enterprise. Pricing is tailored to your needs; use the form on the Enterprise page to request a meeting.
- Who can access my data?
- Your data belongs to your account (or organization); other users cannot access it. Sharing is only possible through PIN-protected links you create, for the duration you set. See the Privacy Policy and Turkish KVKK notice for details.
